In all of my services I aim to educate you in what I see is going on with your body. I have worked with many healthcare professionals in conjunction with clients and feel comfortable collaborating with other practitioners. I aim to have a holistic perspective on the body to help you on your healing journey. I empower clients by educating how to form healthy habits to keep feeling loose long after our session.
Sports
Being an athlete, I understand how important it is to keep your body movements pain free. In this session, we can work together to figure out the imbalances in your body. I will utilize various stretches and test for any strain that may have occurred due to imbalance. I can send you home with stretching/strengthening suggestions to hold the work we have done for as long as possible.
Swedish
Our fast paced world gets our nervous system revved up and from time to time we need outside help to get our mind and body centered. In this session we focus on calming the nervous system to put you into a ‘rest and digest’ mode. I will guide you through breath work so we can work together to get you into a bliss state. If your anxiety levels have been high and the stress doesn’t stop, this is the right session for you.
Intentional Deep Tissue
If you enjoy deeper pressure and have specific areas of need you would like to focus on, let me know. If you suffer from chronic pain from working on the computer or other various reasons, this may be the session for you. Though at times, painful pressure is not always better. I work with your body where you are at to get the most relief. Some of the deepest work has a light, effective, targeted pressure aimed to help unwind your fascial patterns, bringing you into balance.
Prenatal and Postpartum Pregnancy Massage
Prenatal and Postpartum Pregnancy massage has been used in many cultures across the world to support the mothers through the childbearing year. Research shows prenatal massage therapy can help reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, relieve muscle aches and joint pains, it improves labor outcomes and newborn health. Unique postpartum benefits include hormone regulation, reduced swelling, better sleep, and improved breastfeeding. Massage therapy helps restore your body to its pre-pregnancy condition, speeds healing and assists with C-section recovery.
Sound Healing
Sound healing has been used for centuries in healing the body and mind. In this session we use vibrations to calm the mind, reduce stress in your body and help release energetic blockages. This is a great alternative to traditional touch therapy as you can receive benefits like a massage without as much touch.
Raindrop Therapy
This session aids your body through a gentle detox. Nine organic essential oils are used throughout the session. You will slip into a deep state of bliss as the oils are massaged into the feet and the back. You will experience some massage along with hot towels to help the oils penetrate deeper into your body. The oils maintain the immune system and digestive system. They also calm your nervous system, supporting you mentally, emotional and spiritually into a clearer state of being. This can be experienced as a single session for deep relaxation while reaping the benefits from the oils or as a gentle spring or fall detox in a 3 part series within a 4-6 week span.
